2024 JR TACKLE FOOTBALL REGISTRATION WILL BEGIN IN JUNE 2024!
There are two divisions...
3 - 4 Grade
&
5 - 6 Grade
This is based on the grade your child WILL enter the Fall of 2024.
The teams are made up of areas including:
Scottsbluff, Gering, Kimball, Mitchell, Alliance, & Bayard.
Equipment
Participants will need to provide their own equipment, such as, but not limited to:
Shoulder pads
Pants (pads)
Cleats
Helmets
Jerseys WILL be provided for the season!
Practices
Practices will be the sole responsibility of each coach. Practices will vary from times & frequencies at each coach's discretion! Practices will be held throughout the week (Monday - Friday). The coach is responsible to communicate with their team, parents & players.
Games
Games will be scheduled on Saturday mornings & afternoons. A game schedule will be sent out prior to Draft day.
Anyone high school age or older is welcome to apply to be an Official. The rate per game is $20. Games will be held Saturday mornings & afternoons from September through October.

ZERO TOLERANCE POLICY
CCJTFL strongly adheres to a new Zero Tolerance rule that prohibits talking to the referees. The purpose of this policy is to make it clear that verbal abuse or negative criticism of referees is as unacceptable as verbal abuse or negative criticism of players. This policy is not intended to imply that referees are always “right” and the spectator or coach is always “wrong.” Just as players make mistakes during play, referees will make mistakes in officiating. Due to a shortage of referees, we feel it necessary to protect those willing to step up and be a referee. They must receive positive support from coaches and spectators to continue to grow as an official.

The Carpenter Center is a local nonprofit organization in Terrytown, around the Scottsbluff/Gering area of Nebraska! We work within the community to provide a multitude of programs to engage all ages in different activities. We offer much more than just programs. The mission of the Corporation is to establish “The Terry and Hazeldeane Carpenter Intergenerational Center as a recreational and educational facility, whose primary service area is Scotts Bluff County, Nebraska, and its surrounding communities. The Center offers its programs primarily, but not exclusively, to families and elderly who lack the financial resources to access existing educational and recreational opportunities.”
The Carpenter Center was founded in 1996 and is a 501 (c) 3 organization.
