Camp Information

The 2024 Summer Camp is a first come first serve basis! To maintain registration numbers, we will not offer registration online, but only IN-PERSON!

Stop in and get registered before it's too late!

The 2024 Summer Camp is a 2-part 2-week program! The 2 parts will be split into 2 groups, based on age and grade! Camp will not begin until June 2024.

At camp, participants will do various activities ranging from arts/crafts, to physical sports/play, water play & swimming, & various field trips!

Transportation, snacks & lunch are provided for participants!

There is NO cost to attend the camp, it is free at a first-come first-serve basis. Enrollment will be accepted until we reach capacity number.

The Carpenter Center is a local nonprofit organization in Terrytown, around the Scottsbluff/Gering area of Nebraska! We work within the community to provide a multitude of programs to engage all ages in different activities. We offer much more than just programs. We have an on-site weight room, a standard-size gym, tumbling, indoor sports, after school care and more!

The Carpenter Center is committed to strengthening and empowering children, individuals, families, and communities by providing accessible and affordable education and recreational opportunities with enhanced emphasis on ACTIVITY, WELLNESS, and INCLUSION.

The mission of the Corporation is to establish “The Terry and Hazeldeane Carpenter Intergenerational Center as a recreational and educational facility, whose primary service area is Scotts Bluff County, Nebraska, and its surrounding communities. The Center offers its programs primarily, but not exclusively, to families and elderly who lack the financial resources to access existing educational and recreational opportunities.”

The Carpenter Center was founded in 1996 and is a 501 (c) 3 organization.
