COMMUNITY MEAL PROGRAM

                               HOMEMADE MEALS made fresh daily!

                     All meals include vegetables/fruit, bread, and dessert.


                                  $6 at the Center and $7 to take and go

                          Lunch from 11:30 - 12:30   Monday through Friday 

    

"What do I have to do?"

                      Call us at (308) 635-8422 to make a reservation.

  Meal reservations must be made no later than 11:00 the day before.

          Come to our Center located at 116 Terry Blvd. in Terrytown!


What about FREE meals?  

Carpenter Center is an approved meal site for the Social Services for Aged and Disabled Adults (SSAD) program.  If you are age 60 or older, blind and/or disabled, you may qualify for services.  In order to be eligible for services through SSAD, an individual or married couple must meet certain qualifications, including resource and income tests.

    The Carpenter Center was started in 1996 and is a 501 (c) 3 organization.

    The mission of the Corporation is to establish “The Terry and Hazeldeane Carpenter Intergenerational Center as a recreational and educational facility, whose primary service area is Scotts Bluff County, Nebraska, and its surrounding communities. The Center offers its programs primarily, but not exclusively, to parent’s children, and elderly who lack the financial resources to access existing educational and recreational opportunities.”
