Summer Camp 2020

Daycamp Details

Camp will look a little different this year due to Covid-19 recommendations. We are limiting enrollment to 12 campers per session. There will be three sessions lasting 2 hours each day, Monday through Thursday. Fridays will field trip days! Camp will begin June 1st and run for a total of 6 weeks.

Age Groups

Registration is open to all kids going into Pre-K through 5th Grade. Camp staff will assign your child to a session and notify you of your child's schedule the week of May 25th, 2020.

Camp Goals

This year’s camp is centered around service to others (and encouraging intergenerational friendships), fun in the sun, and gardening/food sustainability. All positive ways to nourish our bodies, minds, and souls. There is no better place for kids to connect, make new friends, try new things, and discover their potential.

The Carpenter Center was started in 1996 and is a 501 (c) 3 organization.

The mission of the Corporation is to establish “The Terry and Hazeldeane Carpenter Intergenerational Center as a recreational and educational facility, whose primary service area is Scotts Bluff County, Nebraska, and its surrounding communities. The Center offers its programs primarily, but not exclusively, to parent’s children, and elderly who lack the financial resources to access existing educational and recreational opportunities.”
