The Carpenter Center's Summer Day Camp program will kick off on June 6, 2022 and conclude on July 1, 2022. Enrollment for 2022 will be limited, similar to 2021, to the first 50 children registered, with 25 available registrations open for Pre-K-2nd and 25 available for grades 3rd-5th.
Registration is now open for the 2 age groups. Camp is offered to those that are Pre-K through 5th Grade. Group 1 is for ages from Pre-K to 2nd Grade and Group 2 is for ages 3rd Grade through 5th Grade. If you have any questions regarding registration, please call us at 308-635-8422.
This year’s camp is centered around service to others (and encouraging intergenerational friendships), fun in the sun, and gardening/food sustainability. All positive ways to nourish our bodies, minds, and souls. There is no better place for kids to connect, make new friends, try new things, and discover their potential.
The Carpenter Center was started in 1996 and is a 501 (c) 3 organization.
The mission of the Corporation is to establish “The Terry and Hazeldeane Carpenter Intergenerational Center as a recreational and educational facility, whose primary service area is Scotts Bluff County, Nebraska, and its surrounding communities. The Center offers its programs primarily, but not exclusively, to parent’s children, and elderly who lack the financial resources to access existing educational and recreational opportunities.”
