ZERO TOLERANCE POLICY
CCFL strongly adheres to a new Zero Tolerance rule that prohibits talking to the referees. The purpose of this policy is to make it clear that verbal abuse or negative criticism of referees is as unacceptable as verbal abuse or negative criticism of players. This policy is not intended to imply that referees are always “right” and the spectator or coach is always “wrong.” Just as players make mistakes during play, referees will make mistakes in officiating. Due to a shortage of referees, we feel it necessary to protect those willing to step up and be a referee. They must receive positive support from coaches and spectators to continue to grow as an official. Please read the full policy below.
Players will need to provide their own equipment i.e. shoulder pads , pants, and helmets. However, the Carpenter Center does provide jerseys for the season.
The practice schedules vary according to each coach. A schedule for both practices and games will be provided after the draft date. Practices will be during the weekdays, and games will be scheduled throughout the morning and afternoons on Saturdays. (Concessions will be available!!)
Scholarship applications are available at half price for those that meet income requirements. Find the scholarship applications under the registration forms tab.
Anyone high school age or older is welcome to apply for a referee position. The rate per game is $20. Games will be held Saturday mornings from September through October.

The Carpenter Center was started in 1996 and is a 501 (c) 3 organization.
The mission of the Corporation is to establish “The Terry and Hazeldeane Carpenter Intergenerational Center as a recreational and educational facility, whose primary service area is Scotts Bluff County, Nebraska, and its surrounding communities.
